A violent traffic stop on Singer Island in South Florida has sparked outrage, as a video captured the arrest of an 18-year-old U.S. citizen and his migrant workers co-workers. The detainee, Kenny Laynez, was held for six hours before being released. Authorities were overheard discussing a $30,000 bonus they hoped to receive from the detention. Two of the migrants, including Laynez’s mother, were taken to the Krome Detention Center in Miami due to their undocumented status.
