Miami Dolphins quarterback Quinn Ewers made progress in the team’s third training camp practice, improving on his previous performances. In a notable play, Ewers connected with tight end Dee Eskridge over the middle for a long gain.
Wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine also saw improvement, hauling in a big catch from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. The rookie receiver is looking to establish himself as an ideal complement to Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
However, not all players fared well. Rookie running back Ollie Gordon struggled with ball protection, losing a fumble during the practice. Dolphins coach Eric Studesville will be watching closely to ensure his running backs can minimize such mistakes.
The Dolphins continue their training camp preparations at Baptist Health Training Complex in Miami Gardens. Fans will have the opportunity to attend practices on Saturday, July 26.
