Samsung Galaxy S26 to Feature Multi-AI Assistants

Samsung has confirmed it is exploring multiple AI assistant options for its upcoming Galaxy S26 series. In an interview with Bloomberg, president and COO Choi Won-Joon revealed that the company will have more choices for users beyond Google’s Gemini AI.

Gemini, which enables the assistant to see what the camera sees or what’s on the screen, will be joined by other AI solutions like Open AI and Perplexity AI. Samsung is in talks with these competitors, but has not ruled out other options either.

Choi Won-Joon stated that as long as the AI agents are competitive and deliver top user experiences, Samsung is open to any AI agent. This suggests that the company values innovation over brand loyalty, and will choose the best option for its users.

The Galaxy S26 series is expected to launch early next year, and may drop the “+ model from its lineup. The phone’s chipset providers are also being evaluated, with both Exynos 2600 and Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 in the running.
