Brooke Hogan spoke out for the first time on Monday, addressing her estranged relationship with late WWE legend Hulk Hogan and clearing up “convoluting” media narratives about their past.
In an Instagram message, Brooke shared a heartfelt tribute to her father, acknowledging their complicated history but emphasizing their deep love. She stated that despite being estranged since September 2023, she had always been supportive of her father’s well-being, offering him emotional support during difficult times.
Brooke revealed that she and her husband Steven Olesky moved to Florida to care for her ailing father, with whom she underwent nearly 25 surgeries until he suddenly became distant. She expressed frustration at being kept out of his final moments, stating that a “force field” seemed to surround him.
The WWE legend passed away on July 24 at the age of 71, leaving behind Brooke and their son Nick, 34, as well as his ex-wife Linda Hogan.
In a touching tribute of her own, Linda expressed shock and sadness at her late husband’s passing. She described feeling “melted down” in grief and revealed that she had never spoken to Hulk in person but still felt the loss deeply, thanks in part to their son Nick, who often kept her informed about his father.
Hulk Hogan was married three times, with his second wife Jennifer McDaniel being his most recent partner until 2022.
