Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne has been laid to rest at his 250-acre estate in Buckinghamshire, England. The Black Sabbath frontman, who died on July 22 at the age of 76, was given a private ceremony by close friends and family.
A huge floral tribute was set up on the grounds of the mansion with the message “OZZY F—ING OSBOURNE” spelling out his name. Guests included long-time guitarist Zakk Wylde, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Metallica’s James Hetfield, and Sir Elton John.
On Wednesday, thousands of fans gathered in Birmingham to bid farewell to Ozzy as the hearse made its way through the city streets to a bench dedicated to him. Sharon Osbourne, Jack Osbourne, and Kelly Osbourne attended the celebration of life, paying tribute to their late father.
In a heartwarming gesture, King Charles’ guards played a rendition of Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid” during a changing of the guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace. Fans praised the move, calling it an emotional tribute to Ozzy’s enduring legacy.
