Key story elements were discussed, including the alliance between Xal’atath and other factions. The narrative pivot was intentionally planned in earlier updates, such as Undermine, and characters like Alleria were used to emphasize emotional context.
Gameplay updates include a new dungeon showcasing ethereal culture and a challenging raid encounter against Dimensius. Players can expect a streamlined 15-rank Renown system, community-voted Mythic+ dungeons, and class balance changes for improved playability.
Innovative Delve mechanics inspired by Bloodborne were also revealed, featuring asynchronous elements like player gravestones and “slayer” enemies to enhance solo play experiences.
