Reality TV star Kim Zolciak is addressing the claims she borrowed money from her daughters, Ariana and Brielle Biermann, amid financial struggles with her estranged husband Kroy Biermann.
During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Kim revealed that she was left holding the bag for the family after her daughters’ money was spent on bills. Ariana claimed in June that her parents used the money she earned from Instagram deals without her knowledge, leaving her with no transparency or explanation.
Kim said Brielle paid some of her electric bills and she had to cover others. The money Kim borrowed from Ariana was repaid for the bills, but the amount made by each daughter is unknown. Ariana stated that there was a joint partnership in taking the money, but declined to reveal how much it was or what happened to it.
Despite the financial issues, Ariana said she’s not closer with her father Kroy amid their divorce from Kim due to the situation. She emphasized that “money should never ruin a relationship with your family” and praised her mother as her best friend forever.
