A new study has found that around age 50, tissues and organs in the human body begin to age faster. Researchers in China analyzed samples from 516 human tissues and 76 Chinese organ donors to discover this turning point. The findings suggest that aging is not a linear process but rather a whole-body phenomenon. Key areas where aging accelerates include blood vessels and certain proteins that influence overall bodily aging. This could lead to early, non-invasive age assessments using blood samples, enabling targeted interventions to combat accelerated organ aging and disease risk.
