Renowned singer-songwriter Elvis Costello is set to embark on a new tour, “Radio Soul!: The Early Songs of Elvis Costello”, featuring his long-time bandmates in The Imposters and special guest guitarist Charlie Sexton. The tour will kick off on June 12 in Seattle and visit numerous cities across the US before wrapping up in Miami Beach on July 12.
The setlist will draw from a span of eight years, covering songs written between 1977 and 1986, including “My Aim is True” and “Blood and Chocolate”. Costello has expressed excitement about sharing his early work with fans, stating that it’s a testament to the enduring power of songwriting. The tour promises an unpredictable mix of expected hits and unexpected surprises.
In addition to this summer’s tour, Elvis Costello will be performing as part of his duo tour with Attractions/Imposters keyboardist Steve Nieve, featuring a series of dates in February and March.
