The wait is over for fans of the classic animated series “King of the Hill”. The long-awaited reboot, set to air in August, will follow the Hill family as they return to their hometown of Arlen, Texas, after years abroad.
After a 15-year hiatus, the show will premiere its 14th season on Monday, August 4. All 10 episodes will be released simultaneously and can be streamed exclusively on Hulu, with additional availability on Disney+.
The reboot brings back the original cast, including Mike Judge as Hank Hill, Kathy Najimy as Peggy Hill, and Pamela Adlon as Bobby Hill, now a head chef in his 20s. The show’s nostalgic charm returns, accompanied by modernized settings and characters.
Fans can expect to see how the Hills adjust to a changing Arlen, complete with new technologies like Uber apps and craft beer. Neighbors Dale, Boomhauer, and Bill are also back, along with the return of familiar faces like John Redcorn and Kahn Souphanousinphone.
The 14th season of “King of the Hill” promises to deliver the same wholesome humor that fans have come to love. Don’t miss the premiere on August 4, only on Hulu and Disney+.
