K-drama actors from “The Winning Try” and “The Defects” have issued statements expressing their condolences over the passing of actor Song Young Kyu.
SBS’s “The Winning Try” released a statement saying they wish Song Young Kyu peace and extend sympathy to his family. The production team confirmed that minimal editing would be done in later episodes to maintain story flow, despite initial claims of pre-production.
ENA’s “The Defects” also issued a statement expressing condolences on Song Young Kyu’s passing, with the promise that full edits have been completed for the drama. Song Young Kyu played Kim Min Joong in “The Winning Try” and Yoon Se Hoon in “The Defects”.
