Samsung is reorganizing its high-end Galaxy S26 family, with a new report suggesting the company will ditch the Plus model. The move is expected to boost sales of the ultra-thin Galaxy S26 Edge, which may outperform the Galaxy S25 Plus.
The rumor suggests that Samsung was impressed by the Galaxy S25 Edge’s sales numbers and plans to increase production for the S26 Edge. Unlike its predecessor, the new model will be released alongside the standard and Ultra models.
While the exact fate of the Galaxy S26 Pro remains unclear, it is unlikely to be a separate model from the base Galaxy S26. The report confirms that Samsung’s flagship family restructuring will result in only three models: S26 Edge, S26, and S26 Ultra.
