Dale Forrest, 36, credits good old-fashioned exercise and diet for his remarkable weight loss of 16 stone in just one year. The father of two had previously weighed a staggering 32st at his heaviest before ballooning back up after struggling with loneliness and depression.
However, after receiving his wedding photos in September last year, Dale made the decision to make a change. He began by reducing his calorie intake to 1,500 calories a day and started counting his portions. By the end of October, he had lost over two stone and was already feeling better.
Dale’s journey continued as he added walking to his routine, aiming for 10,000 steps a day. It wasn’t until December that he decided to head to the gym, where he started with cardio and light weights. He continued to lose weight, shedding around one stone a month, and is now weighing in at 16st.
What sets Dale’s story apart is his decision not to use weight loss jabs or supplements. Instead, he wanted to see what was possible through natural means. His journey has been documented on TikTok, where he shares his progress with others who may be struggling with similar weight issues.
Dale credits his newfound energy and ability to play with his children for making the decision to lose weight. He says being a father is “the best decision I have ever made” and hopes to inspire others to take control of their health.
