Microsoft has started rolling out a feature that allows iPhone users to share files between their device and Windows PCs via the Phone Link app and Link to Windows app. Windows Insiders can now download the latest update and enable this new functionality.
To start sharing files from your iPhone, select the file, tap the share icon, and choose “Link to Windows” to send it to a PC or vice versa. On the PC side, select files, right-click on them, and choose “My phone” to receive shared files.
The capability is currently available only to Windows Insiders but is expected to roll out to all Phone Link users in the future. Microsoft launched Phone Link for iOS last year, providing iPhone users with additional features like phone calls, messages, contacts, and notifications on their Windows PC.
