Samsung has announced that its popular One UI 8 operating system will soon be available on more Galaxy Watch models, expanding the initial rollout to devices beyond the new Galaxy Watch 8 series. Initially released with the latest watches in November, One UI 8 offers several health updates and a revamped tile system.
According to Samsung, other Galaxy Watch models will receive the update later this year, though an exact timeline remains uncertain. It’s unclear which specific models will receive the stable version of One UI 8, but it’s likely those previously noted, including the Galaxy Watch 4 series.
For now, customers can upgrade to One UI 8 by purchasing the latest Galaxy Watch 8 series, starting at $349. While trade-in offers are still available, their value has decreased since the pre-order phase.
As the year draws to a close, fans of Samsung’s wearable devices will need to wait for further updates on when other models will receive the One UI 8 update, pending any official announcements from the company.
