The absence of character Xavier Thorpe in Netflix’s Wednesday has been explained. Two years after Percy Hynes White, who played the role, was accused of sexual misconduct, Xavier was cut from the show’s second season.
In a recent episode, Principal Barry Dort revealed that Xavier is now attending Reichenbach Academy in Switzerland. The move comes after Vincent Thorpe, Xavier’s father, pulled his son and endowment from Nevermore due to his false accusation as the killer Hyde last season. As a result, Wednesday’s mother Morticia Addams will take on a more prominent role in the fundraising committee.
