A new mockumentary series set in the world of The Office has been released, with a trailer showcasing its unique blend of humor and heart. Peacock has announced that “The Paper”, starring Oscar Nuñez reprising his role as Oscar Martinez, follows a documentary crew as they visit a struggling newspaper in Toledo, Ohio.
Oscar’s character is tasked with restoring the paper to its former glory after the owner fails to prioritize it, much to the dismay of Oscar. Meanwhile, a new director, Ned Sampson (played by Domhnall Gleeson), takes on the challenge of reviving the publication.
The series boasts an impressive cast and crew, including several Office alumni and creators Greg Daniels and Michael Koman. The first season will consist of 10 episodes, with the premiere taking place on September 4.
