The NASCAR weekend will kick off at Watkins Glen International with multiple series racing on Friday, including the ARCA and Truck series. Here’s the schedule:
ARCA Series:
Practice: 10-10:45 a.m.
Qualifying: 11-11:20 a.m.
Race: 2 p.m. (150 laps, 131.25 miles)
Truck Series:
Practice: 11:35 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Qualifying: 12:40-1:30 p.m.
Race: 5 p.m. (72 laps, 176.4 miles with stages)
The event will feature four Cup drivers in the Truck series and Xfinity full-time driver Connor Zilisch, who is also competing in Sunday’s Cup race. Zilisch is the defending winner of the ARCA race. The Truck series last raced at Watkins Glen International on August 7, 2021, when Austin Hill won a shortened event.
Friday’s weather forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with high temperatures around 85 degrees and light winds from the south.
