NHTSA Investigates Recall Effectiveness of Kia Seltos and Soul Vehicles

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has launched an investigation into a recall of 137,256 Kia Seltos and Soul vehicles due to concerns over its effectiveness. The agency received 47 complaints about the recall remedy.

Additionally, a Colorado dealership will pay $480,000 in settlement over allegations of sex, race, and national origin harassment and retaliation. This is the second time the dealership has agreed to pay and settle with employees in recent years.

Genesis Motor has reportedly decided to discontinue its G70 compact sedan after the 2027 model year, citing a pursuit of luxury positioning as a reason for the move.

CarGurus will wind down its CarOffer operations by the end of the year, CEO Jason Trevisan announced. The company began assessing strategic alternatives in the previous quarter.

Jaguar’s new CEO has defended the brand’s “woke rebrand,” stating that customers are responding positively to the change and that the automaker is sticking with the new look.
