Apple has announced the winners of its 2024 App Store Awards, recognizing 17 developers who have created exceptional apps and games that improved users’ lives and impacted culture around the world. The awards celebrate user experience, design, and innovation, and this year’s winners come from diverse backgrounds, including solo entrepreneurs to multinational teams.
From apps like Kino, which helps users ignite their creativity through film-inspired filters and advanced controls, to Moises, which empowers musicians on iPad with powerful AI tools, the winning apps showcase the endless opportunities across the App Store. Other notable winners include Lumy, which helps users find magic in each day, and F1 TV, which brings immersive race-viewing experiences to fans at home.
The gaming category was also represented, with AFK Journey delivering action-packed, tactical adventures, and Squad Busters combining competition with feel-good fun through exciting multiplayer gameplay. Apple Arcade’s Balatro+ reinvents the rules of card games with every new hand.
In addition to recognizing apps and games across Apple devices, App Store Editors selected six Cultural Impact winners, which empower users to tap into their intellectual curiosity, foster connection among family and friends, and champion a more accessible world. This year’s winners include Oko, which helps users who are blind or have low vision navigate city streets with confidence, and EF Hello, which integrates AI-powered language learning for language learners of all levels.
