Rams’ Matthew Stafford’s Disc Issue: No Surgery Talk Yet

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford was scheduled to practice on Monday but instead wore street clothes, prompting head coach Sean McVay to reveal that Stafford’s back wasn’t feeling good enough for him to participate.

McVay stated that the team will take things one day at a time with Stafford and his disc issue. When asked about the possibility of surgery, McVay said that such a conversation has not occurred yet.

Stafford had previously thrown around 60 passes during his workout on Saturday without any restrictions. However, despite this, his back did not recover well enough to allow him to practice on Monday. Jimmy Garoppolo has taken over as the first-team quarterback in Stafford’s absence.

The Rams are being cautious with Stafford and will continue to monitor his condition closely. With no surgery talk yet, fans and analysts alike are eagerly waiting for further updates on the quarterback’s status.
