Samsung has improved its flagship lock screen widget feature, Now Bar, with a new update that brings winning probability information to live sporting events. The feature was first launched in January 2025 alongside the Galaxy S25 series and allows users to view various updates at a glance from the lock screen.
The latest update adds a graphical display of winning probabilities for football, cricket, and baseball matches, but it’s not exclusive to One UI 8 users. Those using One UI 7 can also enjoy this feature without waiting for the next major update.
In addition to the new sporting feature, Samsung plans to expand its application support for Now Bar. The platform will now support up to 35 applications by the end of 2025, compared to its current 20 supported services.
This upgrade shows Samsung’s commitment to enhancing the user experience on its Galaxy devices with more informative and interactive features directly from the lock screen.
