The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is set to host a fight at the White House on July 4, 2026, according to UFC CEO Dana White. White told CBS News that he spoke with President Donald Trump about the plans and has scheduled an in-person meeting for later this month.
Trump initially teased the idea of a UFC fight at his event marking the US’ 250th birthday last month. Ivanka Trump is now involved in planning the event, which is expected to take place on July 4 next year. White expressed confidence that the fight will happen and highlighted its alignment with the network’s multibillion-dollar streaming deal.
White has a close relationship with Trump, dating back to 2001 when Trump hosted a UFC event at his casino in Atlantic City. The two have also collaborated at other high-profile events, including the Republican National Convention and a rally at Madison Square Garden.
