AMD RX 9060 Outperforms RTX 5050 in Benchmarks

AMD has stealth-launched the RX 9600, a new GPU that’s performing better than expected, according to early benchmarks. The RX 9060 XT version was recently announced, but its specs were less impressive. However, the non-XT version of the RX 9060 is showing promising results.

The RX 9060 is smaller and more affordable than the XT version, with similar performance to the RTX 5060 in some games and lower frame rates in others. It trails behind the new AMD card by a relatively small margin compared to the RTX 5050, which is currently priced higher. The card features 8GB of VRAM, similar to other recent releases.

While the exact price of the RX 9060 is unclear, it seems to be only available in pre-built market configurations for now, specifically in Asia. AMD is not yet producing it separately for sale.

Despite concerns about 8GB of VRAM, some gamers may appreciate the affordability and potential performance of this new GPU. If the RX 9060 can meet expectations in the West and become more widely available, it could provide a more affordable alternative to higher-end options.
