The wait is almost over as college football fans eagerly anticipate the start of the new season. ESPN’s 2025 preseason All-America team has been unveiled, and it’s packed with talented players who are expected to make a significant impact in their respective teams.
In total, there are 30 players on this year’s list, with Clemson and Alabama leading the way with three first-team selections each. Ohio State follows closely behind with two first-teamers. Quarterback Cade Klubnik of Clemson is one of the most improved players in the country last season and enters his third year as the Tigers’ starter.
The offense is led by top players such as Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame’s dominant running back who rushed for 1,125 yards and 17 touchdowns last season; Ryan Williams, Alabama’s explosive wide receiver who averaged 18 yards per catch in his first four games; and Dominic Zvada, Michigan’s reliable place-kicker.
On the defensive side of the ball, players like Dylan Stewart, South Carolina’s rising star pass rusher; Anthony Hill Jr., Texas’s versatile linebacker; and Leonard Moore, Notre Dame’s shutdown cornerback are expected to lead their teams to success. The special teams unit is also highlighted by talented players such as Brett Thorson, Georgia’s punter, who was a finalist for the Ray Guy Award last season.
The 2025 preseason All-America team is a reflection of the talent and depth that exists in college football this year. With these players on the field, it promises to be an exciting and competitive season ahead.
