UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has warned Israel and Russia over their involvement in sexual violence during armed conflicts, according to a UN report. The report does not currently list Israel or Russia as countries suspected of or responsible for the abuse. However, both countries are mentioned in a narrative section and appendix, with a warning that they may be added to the official list in 2025 if further evidence emerges.
