As we navigate the post-draft period, fantasy football managers are looking for players to bounce back from disappointing performances. From injuries to quarterback issues, these players have the potential to shine in 2024.
Jordan Love, QB, GB – Love’s 2024 season was marred by injuries, but he’s a great candidate for a rebound year. With Matthew Golden now leading the pack, Love will likely see more opportunities to pass and run with Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs.
Dak Prescott, QB, DAL – Prescott missed half of the 2024 season due to injury, but his health is a major factor in his potential return to form. With George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb as his top targets, Prescott has the arm talent to push for Top 10 numbers.
Christian McCaffrey, RB, SF – After a healthy 13-game stint, McCaffrey is poised to be an RB1 once again. His health is key, but with 250+ touches, he’ll have plenty of opportunities to bounce back.
Isiah Pacheco, RB, KC – A risk-reward pick, Pacheco is the likely lead option for the Chiefs after Kareem Hunt’s decline. With Elijah Mitchell and Brashard Smith as backups, Pacheco has the potential for a Top 15 finish if he can stay healthy.
Travis Etienne, RB, JAX – Etienne’s hamstring strain may be an understatement considering his injuries in past seasons. However, with Liam Coen on board, Etienne could return to form and push for a Top 15 finish.
Chris Olave, WR, NO – Despite concerns about quarterback issues and concussions, Olave is the Saints’ top wideout and has Top 30 upside with 120-130 targets.
Jaylen Waddle, WR, MIA – A high-risk/high-reward pick, Waddle averaged impressive numbers in his first three seasons but faces injury concerns. If Tua Tagovailoa stays healthy, Waddle’s value will increase.
Romeo Odunze, WR, CHI – With Ben Johnson on board, the Bears’ offense is expected to improve, giving Odunze more opportunities to shine. His pure talent makes him a fringe WR3 candidate.
Deebo Samuel, WR, WSH – After a tumultuous 2023 season, Samuel arrives in Washington with a major need at No. 2 wideout. If healthy, he’ll have plenty of targets and could push for a Top 30 finish.
Kyle Pitts, TE, ATL – A draft pick with immense potential, Pitts is being overlooked due to past disappointments. With Michael Penix’s second option status, Pitts has the chance to shine in his rookie season and end up with a Top 5 finish.
These players have the potential to bounce back from disappointing performances and provide value to fantasy managers. Keep an eye on their progress as they navigate the 2024 NFL season.
