Battlefield 6 Open Beta Sees Surge of 300,000 Users Despite Issues

Battlefield 6’s open beta has started its second weekend, but some issues have emerged. The developer acknowledged “ongoing matchmaking problems” for certain players on specific playlists, and is working to resolve the issue.

The studio recommends updating to the latest client version and suggests using the “Repair” button in the EA App to fix the problem. Additionally, DLSS/DLAA functionality on PC is currently unavailable due to an ongoing issue being investigated by the team.

Despite these issues, the beta has attracted over 300,000 concurrent players on Steam, with a new map and matchmaking feature added for the second weekend. The full game is set to release on October 10 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
