Apple Unveils macOS Tahoe Public Beta 3 Ahead of Fall Launch

Apple has released the third public beta of its upcoming operating system, macOS Tahoe. The update comes a week after the second public beta and aligns with the sixth developer beta. Users can download the beta from the Software Update section of the Settings app by signing up on Apple’s website.

macOS Tahoe features the same Liquid Glass design as iOS 26, applied to app icons, folders, and other UI elements. Customization options have been introduced for the Control Center, Menu Bar, and folder organization. Safari has received an updated tab design, while the Phone app now allows users to make phone calls through Wi-Fi Calling.

Other notable changes include a revamped Spotlight search function with hundreds of actions available without opening an app, as well as a new Games app with a Game Overlay feature.
