Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin remains without a new contract deal, missing on-field practice sessions just weeks before the start of the regular season. However, offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury emphasizes that in-depth team work is crucial to building an effective offense.
“We’re at the point where we need to be out on the field,” Kingsbury stated during a press conference. “Time on task together on the grass is really the only way you can continue to build.” With multiple injury issues, including wide receiver Noah Brown’s summer injury, McLaurin and his teammates must quickly gel if they are to hit their stride in Week 1.
