Israel has demolished over 300 homes in Gaza City, killing more than 100 Palestinians in the past day, and is moving to forcibly remove its entire population. The country has held talks with South Sudan about resettling displaced Palestinians. Health officials report that 12 additional Palestinians have starved to death in the past two days, bringing the total to 239, including 106 children.
The United Nations has accused Israel of “medicide” for destroying Gaza’s healthcare system and targeting health workers. Al Jazeera reports that at least 37 people seeking aid were killed on Wednesday, including 16 at an aid point north of Rafah.
Egyptian truck drivers claim that Israel is blocking most deliveries from entering Gaza, despite the Egyptian crossing being open 24 hours a day. The obstruction is reportedly coming from the Israeli side, leaving thousands of trucks unable to enter the territory.
