Can-Am has launched its first electric all-terrain vehicle (ATV), the Outlander Electric, which offers more towing capacity than its gas-powered counterparts. The electric model produces up to 47 horsepower and 53 lb-ft of torque, making it suitable for heavy-duty tasks like farming and hunting.
The Outlander Electric features a modular Rotax E-Power drivetrain, an 8.9 kWh battery with a range of approximately 50 miles, and can be charged in around 50 minutes using a Level 2 charger. The ATV also boasts selective ride modes, 12-inches of clearance, and a two-speed transmission.
The electric model’s key benefit lies in its whisper-quiet operation, thanks to liquid-cooling, optimized suspension, and special tires. This makes it ideal for tasks that require stealth, such as farm animal handling or wildlife tracking.
Starting at $12,999, the Can-Am Outlander Electric ATV is now available for purchase from deals and Can-Am’s website.
