Samsung Launches World’s First Micro RGB TV

Samsung Electronics America has launched the world’s first micro-scale RGB LED backlight display on its 115-inch TV, redefining premium TV technology with exceptional color accuracy and brightness. The Micro RGB TV features individually controlled red, green, and blue micro LEDs in a precise pattern behind the panel, resulting in industry-first 100% color coverage of BT.2020.

Powered by Samsung’s Micro RGB AI engine, this display uses real-time AI processing to optimize color output for an immersive picture. It also features a ‘Micro RGB Precision Color’ technology that enhances colors across all content, adding depth and dimension for a nearly indistinguishable viewing experience from reality. The TV is designed with glare-free technology to minimize reflections and has a slim metal design for a sleek profile.

Samsung Micro RGB TV includes advanced features such as Samsung Vision AI integration, allowing viewers to access actor bios, related content, and real-time recommendations without leaving the screen. It also boasts an industry-leading security solution, Samsung Knox, and supports a 7-year free Tizen OS Upgrade program. The TV will be available in the US starting at $29,999, with plans for global rollout featuring various sizes to meet customer needs.

The Micro RGB Technology achieves unprecedented precision in controlling micrometer-sized RGB LEDs, raising the bar for color accuracy and contrast in consumer displays. With this launch, Samsung is setting a new standard in the large-sized, ultra-premium TV market, reinforcing its commitment to next-generation display innovation.
