AAA Sets Viewership Record with TripleMania XXXIII

Mexican lucha libre promotion AAA has set a viewership record for its annual event, TripleMania XXXIII. The first live stream of the event since the WWE acquired the brand in April drew over 4 million viewers worldwide within the first 24 hours. The streaming platform reached a peak concurrent audience of 614,000. This marks a significant milestone for AAA, which has been hosting the event since 1992.

TripleMania XXXIII took place at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City with an attendance record of 19,691 spectators. The live stream was available on both WWE and AAA’s YouTube channels, offering viewership in English and Spanish. This marks a successful partnership between the WWE and AAA, as their previous crossover event drew 4.1 million viewers.

AAA has been family-operated for over 30 years, with legendary talent such as Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, and Penta having competed under its banner. The Peña family will continue to play a role in AAA’s next chapter alongside WWE and partner Fillip.
