Nvidia is updating its app with improvements to Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) override and control panel features. The update aims to simplify the user experience for gamers.
The new update will include global DLSS override, allowing users to set preferences across all supported games. It also introduces anisotropic filtering, anti-aliasing, and ambient occlusion options within the app.
Additionally, Nvidia’s Smooth Motion feature, previously exclusive to RTX 50-series GPUs, is now available for RTX 40-series owners. This driver-based AI model enhances gameplay by smoothing out frame rates in games that don’t support DLSS Frame Generation.
Nvidia’s G-Assist AI assistant will also receive a memory boost, using 40 percent less memory while maintaining performance.
These updates are set to roll out on August 19th for beta users and will be followed by a general release next week.
