Yahoo’s Privacy Policy Explained for Users

At Yahoo, we have a group of brands including ourselves, AOL, Engadget, In The Know, and Makers. To manage their websites and apps effectively, they need some information about you.

When using our sites and apps, an option will appear asking if the website can use cookies and personal data for other purposes. This is called ‘Reject all’. If you click on this, we won’t collect more information from you than necessary.

However, if you want to be able to change your choices in the future, you should click ‘Manage privacy settings’. This allows you to decide which data we can use and when.

You can also delete your consent at any time. To do this, find the links for ‘Privacy & cookie settings’ or ‘Privacy dashboard’ on our sites and apps, and follow them.

We explain more about how we use your personal data in our privacy policy and cookie policy to ensure you are informed of all the information being shared between us.
