A recently captured image by the Hubble space telescope has revealed an object hurtling towards the sun at a speed of 61km per second. The interstellar visitor is sparking excitement among scientists as they prepare to analyze its size and chemical composition.
Dr. Rebecca Allen, co-director of Swinburne’s Space Technology and Industry Institute, describes the find as “rare” and adds that her team has never had an object like this to study before.
