Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Launch Joint Loyalty Program

Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines have launched a new joint loyalty program called Atmos Rewards. The program offers three ways for members to earn points, including by distance traveled, price paid, and segments flown. Members can choose the method that best suits their travel habits.

The transition from HawaiianMiles to Atmos Rewards is expected to take place on October 1, with members’ accounts being automatically updated. None of the existing miles will expire during the transition, and members will continue to earn rewards and bonus miles for shopping at local businesses like Foodland.

A new premium credit card has also been unveiled, offering a Global companion award certificate and extra miles or points for international purchases made in foreign currency. The airlines’ website offers more information on Atmos Rewards and its benefits.

Existing Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan members have automatically become Atmos Rewards members, while HawaiianMiles members can sign up here. Free Starlink Wi-Fi is also being installed across the entire Alaska fleet, with availability expected in 2027.
