SantaCon NYC 2024 Returns with Charity Event

SantaCon, a charity pub crawl, is returning to New York City’s streets on December 14th at 10 a.m. Hundreds of Santas, elves, and Rudolphs will participate in the event, which has raised millions for charitable causes in previous years.

Multiple bars across Manhattan are expected to take part, while the MTA is taking measures to ensure a safe experience for passengers. From 4 a.m. on Saturday until noon on Sunday, alcohol will be banned from Metro-North and Long Island Rail Road trains. Increased police presence will also be at Penn Station, Grand Central Madison, and Grand Central Terminal.

The MTA Police Chief stated that the priority is ensuring safe travel while allowing people to enjoy the festivities. Organizers aim to promote a fun and inclusive event that benefits local charities.
