DICE has officially released more details about the operator skins in Battlefield 6, particularly those exclusive to the Phantom Edition. The leak comes from a group known as 1BF, who have uncovered various cosmetic items, including skins for each class in the game.
Battlefield 6 will be available in two variants at launch: Standard and Phantom editions. The latter offers exclusive items, including four unique skins per class. Although some may find this disappointing compared to previous Call of Duty games, there’s no clownish or loud content among these skins.
Notably, DICE has maintained a grounded approach by sticking to the franchise’s roots. This is in contrast to other recent games, where publisher interference led to inconsistent cosmetic designs. The good news for fans is that it seems DICE prioritizes individuality and authenticity over flash.
Players can earn cosmetics, including character skins, through a free Battle Pass in Battlefield 2042. This feature has been integrated into the game to provide an opportunity for players to collect items before the release of Battlefield 6.
As with any unreleased content, keep in mind that some details may be placeholder designs or concepts cut from the final version.
