Gilbert Davila, who has run a diversity firm for 15 years, joined the board in 2020. Conservative activist Robby Starbuck criticized Davila, saying he was hired due to his ties to pushing DEI values, which Starbuck claims are anti-American. The company’s new logo and interior changes have sparked outrage among some customers, who feel it erases American culture and heritage.
