Chinese Taipei won its first Little League World Series title in 29 years, defeating Nevada 7-0 in the championship game. Lin Chin-Tse was the ace pitcher for Chinese Taipei, pitching a perfect game through five innings and hitting a bases-clearing triple to help his team take an early lead.
Nevada had been seeking its first LLWS title since Nevada’s Summerlin South Little League won the U.S. championship in 2024. However, Nevada’s Luke D’Ambrosio struggled on the mound, allowing three runs before being replaced by Jayden Lee.
Chinese Taipei dominated from start to finish, turning three double plays and recording four shutouts during the tournament. The team has outscored its opponents 15-3 so far in the tournament, with Lin Chin-Tse leading the way.
The championship game was played at Howard J. Lamade Stadium in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, with an attendance of 25,812 fans. Chinese Taipei’s victory marks its 18th LLWS title, the second most behind the United States’ 40 combined titles.
Chinese Taipei’s team has a rich history in the Little League World Series, with 33 appearances and 17 previous championships. The country’s last championship came in 1996 from Kaohsiung Little League.
The 2025 Little League World Series will be broadcast on ESPN platforms, with the championship game airing on ABC.
