Paramount+ has added Oscar nominee Annette Bening to the cast of its Yellowstone spinoff series, ‘The Dutton Ranch’. The show will focus on Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Rip (Cole Hauser), who have moved to a new ranch after the end of the flagship series. Finn Little will reprise his role as Carter.
Bening will play Beulah Jackson, a powerful, cunning, and charming woman heading a major ranch in Texas. The Dutton Ranch is part of Yellowstone’s growing franchise, which includes prequels 1883, 1923, and Y: Marshals, as well as the upcoming spinoff The Madison.
Bening brings her recent credits to the show, including an Oscar-nominated role in Nyad and appearances in Apples Never Fall and Death on the Nile. She stars alongside Anya Taylor-Joy in an Apple TV+ limited series called Lucky. Chad Feehan has been named as the showrunner for ‘The Dutton Ranch’.
