A rape accuser of Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter and Sean “Diddy” Combs claims she made mistakes in her account of the allegations. In an NBC News interview, the Alabama woman represented by lawyer Tony Buzbee recanted certain details of her claims, including that her father picked her up from the party.
Despite this, she still stands by her allegations that Carter and Combs raped her at an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty in September 2000, when she was 13 years old. However, photos show the two music moguls at a different location than the one described in her claims.
Carter’s team has repeatedly denied any allegations of sexual misconduct, with Jay-Z pushing back on these claims again in a statement, saying “True Justice is coming” and that the accuser has filed a false complaint against him.
