Former UFC champion Rampage Jackson’s son, Raja Jackson, has been involved in a violent incident at an event in California, where he attacked another wrestler, Syko Stu, while motionless on the mat. The footage showed Raja Jackson repeatedly punching Syko Stu despite him being unresponsive.
Syko Stu suffered severe injuries to his head and was left unconscious. His brother, Andrew Smith, reported that Syko is currently conscious but has a difficult recovery ahead. A fundraising page set up by Syko’s wife to cover medical costs has raised almost $70,000 so far.
Rampage Jackson condemned his son’s actions on Twitter, stating he did not condone them and was concerned for Syko’s health and well-being. The incident is believed to have started as a scripted part of the show but took a turn for the worse.
The wrestling academy organizer, KnokX, apologized for the incident, describing it as an “egregious act” that never should have occurred during their 17-year operation. The organization has assured patrons and fans that they will take steps to prevent similar incidents in the future.
