Frontier Airlines, America’s Low Fare Airline, has committed to becoming the number one low-fare carrier in the top 20 U.S. metro areas. As part of this commitment, the airline will add 20 new routes from Detroit, Houston, Baltimore, Fort Lauderdale, Charlotte, and Dallas with fares starting from just $29.
The expansion includes new routes to Cancun, New Orleans, Chicago, Philadelphia, Guatemala City, and San Salvador, among others. These routes are set to launch in late 2025 through early 2026, with many already available for booking.
Frontier’s CEO, Barry Biffle, stated that the airline aims to ensure consumers in those markets continue to have affordable flight options as industry capacity adjusts. The New Frontier initiative has redefined what it means to fly with Frontier, focusing on delivering more comfort, rewards, and value to customers.
The airline is introducing new loyalty benefits, including companion travel certificates, miles match from other airlines, and upgrade from other airlines to Frontier Elite Gold Status. These innovations build on the foundation of Frontier Miles, offering customers more ways to travel better and be rewarded for it.
Tickets must be purchased by September 1, 2025, with sale fares valid for non-stop travel on select days through January 5, 2026. Travel blackout dates apply, but not all markets are available for all dates of travel.
