IDF Stamps Out Terror Funds in Ramallah Bank Raid

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) conducted a military operation in Ramallah on Tuesday, targeting a Palestinian bank suspected of laundering terror funds. Undercover Duvdeven special forces and other units seized hundreds of thousands of terror funds and arrested several individuals linked to the operation.

The IDF claimed the raid aimed to disrupt the terror campaign in the West Bank, which has seen a recent surge in violence. This comes days after an attack near Ramallah that narrowly missed killing an Israeli civilian. The military acknowledged some non-violent Palestinians were injured during the tear gas protests, but said their injuries would be investigated.

The operation is part of an effort to curb terror threats in the West Bank, with Defense Minister Israel Katz stating a 20% drop in such threats over the past two weeks. Katz identified refugee camps like Jenin and Tulkarm as key hotspots for terrorism, funded by Iran.
