Hardware company Plaud.ai has released its new physical notetaker, the Plaud AI Pro, priced at $179. The device is designed for users who want to take notes during calls or in-person meetings and features a 0.95-inch AMOLED screen, four MEMS microphones, and improved noise suppression.
The Note Pro offers a 30-hour recording capacity and can capture audio from up to 16.4 feet away, a significant upgrade over the previous model. The device also includes an auto-detection feature for switching between calls and in-person recordings, eliminating the need for manual switching.
Companion app updates include new features such as text note-taking, image addition, and multidimensional summaries. Users can extract insights from their notes in various formats and even build custom templates. A beta feature allows users to query their notes directly.
The Plaud AI Pro is set to ship in October 2025, with complimentary transcription minutes included for pre-order customers. The device will also come with a magnetic case and users can opt for paid monthly plans or top-ups for additional transcription time.
