JPMorgan CEO Complys with Epstein Subpoena Demand

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon has stated he will cooperate fully with any subpoena seeking records related to Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender whose financial dealings have raised concerns among lawmakers. The House Judiciary Committee is set to vote on whether to issue subpoenas to Dimon and other bank executives as part of an investigation into their relationships with Epstein.

Dimon expressed regret over any connection his bank had with Epstein, emphasizing that he would comply with any legal requirement. He also acknowledged the severity of Epstein’s crimes, calling them “terrible” and stating that JPMorgan played a role in enabling his misconduct.

The bank previously reached a settlement with Epstein’s victims, who alleged JPMorgan enabled his abuse by continuing to provide services to him. Dimon did not comment on whether Epstein was discussed during his meeting with GOP senators, focusing instead on broader economic issues.
