Glitches plagued the demo, including an AI system that seemed “clearly confused and jumping around” due to thousands of people being connected to the same Wi-Fi network. The device was priced at $799 and intended to showcase Meta’s vision for a future where wearable AI assistants anticipate needs and handle tasks with minimal user effort.
Despite the technical issues, Zuckerberg framed the glasses as a significant advancement in AI-powered personal technology. However, the demo failed to impress, leaving many wondering if the product is ready for release.
